How to change your plan

Learn how to change your Verizon plan or how to manage your current plan's data.

You can change a plan for an individual line, multiple lines, or all lines on an account if you have an advanced user role.

To change a plan for more than 100 lines, please follow the Bulk Account Maintenance process.  We'll show you how to do both.

 

Changing your plan

I only have one account in My Business
Follow the steps below to change your plan on 1 line or up to 100 lines.
  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Manage Account.
  3. Click Manage Wireless Numbers.
  4. Click Actions.
  5. In the "Plan & Features" section, click Manage Plan (100 Line Max).
  6. From the "My current plans" page, select a plan under the Account Share Plans or Individual plans sections.
    • Please note that if there is only one plan on your account, you will be taken directly to the "Plan details" page in step 7.
  7. On the "Plan details" page, scroll down to select the lines for the plan change.
  8. Once selected, click Change Plan.
  9. Select the plan of your choice.
    • Please note that you can have either one shared plan, aggregate plan, or mix and match plan on your account at a time.
    • To add one of these plans to your account, all lines from your current plan(s) will have to move to the new plan.
  10. Next, select the data allowance for the plan chosen.
  11. Click Continue.
  12. On the Review Page, select the Effective Date and click Submit.

I have more than 1 account in My Business
Follow the steps below to change your plan on 1 line or up to 100 lines.
  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Manage Account.
  3. Click Manage Wireless Numbers.
  4. Click Actions.
  5. In the "Plan & Features" section, click Manage Plan (100 Line Max).
  6. Select an account, or search for an account in the "search" field.
  7. From the "My current plans" page, select a plan under the Account share plans or Individual plans sections.
    • Please note that if there is only one plan on your account, you will be taken directly to the "Plan details" page in step 8.
  8. On the "Plan details" page, scroll down to the select the lines for the plan change.
  9. Once selected, click Change Plan.
  10. Select the plan of your choice.
    • Please note that you can have either one shared plan, aggregate plan, or mix and match plan on your account at a time.
    • To add one of these plans to your account, all lines from your current plan(s) will have to move to the new plan.
  11. Next, select the data allowance for the plan chosen.
  12. Click Continue.
  13. On the Review Page, select Effective Date and click Submit.
Changing lines on different plans at once
Follow the steps below to change your plan on 1 line or up to 100 lines.
  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click on Manage Account.
  3. Click Manage Wireless Numbers.
  4. Click Actions.
  5. In the "Plan & Features" section, click Manage Plan (100 Line Max).
  6. Select an account from the list of account tile boxes, or search for an account in the "search" field.
  7. Click Change different plans at once >.
    • Please note that you can only select lines from 1 account.
  8. From the "Make a plan change for lines on different plans" page, select from the list of numbers on the account.
  9. Click Change Plan.
    • Please note that you can have either one shared plan, aggregate plan, or mix and match plan on your account at a time.
    • To add one of these plans to your account, all lines from your current plan(s) will have to move to the new plan.
  10. Next, select the data allowance for the plan chosen.
  11. Click Continue.
  12. On the Review Page, select the Effective Date and click Submit.

Changing data only
Follow the steps below to change your plan on 1 line or up to 100 lines.
  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Manage Account.
  3. Click Manage Wireless Numbers.
  4. Click Actions.
  5. In the "Plan & Features" section, click Manage Plan (100 Line Max).
  6. Select an account from the list of account tile boxes, or search for an account in the "search" field.
  7. From the "My current plan" page, select a plan under the Account Share Plans or Individual plan sections.
  8. On the "Plan details" page, scroll down to select the lines for the plan change.
  9. Once selected, click Change Plan.
  10. In the pop up box, click Change Data.
  11. Select all lines from the next pop up.
  12. Next, select the data amount from the plan changes page and click Continue.
  13. On the Review Page, select the Effective Date and click Submit.
Bulk Account Maintenance
Follow these steps to change your plan on more than 100 lines at a time.
  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Manage Account.
  3. In the “Service” column, click Bulk Account Maintenance.
  4. Select Change Plan and click Continue.
  5. Check the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions and click Continue.
  6. In the “Change Plan” section, enter up to 5 wireless numbers in the boxes and click Continue.
  7. Choose the line you want to change.
  8. Click Actions.
  9. In the “Plans & Features” section to the right, click Change Plan.
  10. Select a Plan Type:
    • Individual
    • Aggregate Share
    • New Unlimited
      • Note: Click View Line Details to get information on the current plan information for this wireless number.
  11. Click on the Plan Type to show the plan option for this line. 
    • Clicking the + icon shows additional details for each option.
