Contact Center Hub dashboard
The dashboard & user roles
The Dashboard is the administrator portal of your Contact Center Hub.
You can set up, view and manage a variety of Contact Center Hub functions, such as:
- Numbers
- Users
- Feature settings
- Analytics and Reporting
Contact Center Hub Admins can add new users or numbers, create call routing trees, modify feature settings, invite new users and perform virtually all operational functions of the service.
Understanding the difference between Admins and Users
The permissions you have enabled on your Contact Center Hub account determine some of the tasks you’re able to perform. The two sets of permissions are Users and Admins.
Let’s look at the biggest differences between the two:
User: This permission level allows access to the Contact Center Hub app but does not allow access to the Dashboard. The user can make and receive calls from the app and define personal preferences. However, user-level permissions cannot modify number settings or preferences from an overall account level.
Admin: This permission level allows access from both the Contact Center Hub app, as well as the dashboard. Through the dashboard, the admin can add and configure numbers and users. The dashboard also allows access to call analytics, billing information, and other features.
Signing in
In Contact Center Hub, Admin users can access the Contact Center Hub Dashboard which allows you to configure and add phone numbers, set up teammates, and look at specific call data. Additionally, you have the ability to access your company settings depending on the plan you’ve subscribed to. In order to access the Dashboard, you must be an Admin user.
When you first sign up for Contact Center Hub, you’ll receive an invitation by email with a link to create a new password. Once you’ve completed this step, you’ll now be able to sign in to the Dashboard at https://dashboard-verizon.aircall.io/login
Here, you can sign in by entering your professional email address and the password you created. We recommend that you use Google Chrome.
If you are not an Admin user, you will not be able to sign in to the Dashboard and you will be redirected to the download page. If you would like to request admin access, please contact your company's Contact Center Hub Administrator. They will be able to grant you access through their Dashboard.
The administrator will need to:
- Sign in to the Contact Center Hub admin Dashboard.
- Click Team in the navigation menu.
- Select the user and scroll down to Admin Privileges.
- Click Make this user an Admin.
If you experience any issues with accessing the Dashboard, please make sure to clear your Google Chrome cache & cookies to avoid excessive build-up of cache-related material.
Configuring and adding new users
Adding new users and creating teams on your Contact Center Hub account can be done directly from your Dashboard.
- Sign in to your Contact Center Hub Dashboard.
- Click Team in the left sidebar menu.
- Click Add a user located in the upper left-hand corner of the screen
- Fill in the user’s First name, Last name, and professional email address.
- Select the toggle if you would like to set them as an Administrator
- Add them to any Teams if you would like.
- Click Invite.
The new user will receive an invitation email containing a confirmation button that needs to be validated to activate the user.
Configuring new users
Don't forget to assign the new user to the phone number's that you would like them to make and receive calls from. If you do not assign them to a phone number then they will not be able to use Contact Center Hub.
Once activated, the new user is now ready to download the app and start making and receiving calls.
