1. What are plans and why are they important to my Verizon service?

A plan is the service used to connect your device to America’s largest and most reliable network. It’s important to have the correct plan(s) assigned to your account to maintain consistent communication for your business and avoid overages.

2. Which roles can change a plan in My Business?

3. When can I change my plan?

You can change your plan in My Business or the My Verizon Business app at any time. 

4. How do I change my plan in My Business?

To change your plan in My Business: 

From the My Business home page:

  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Manage Account.
  3. In the "Service" column, click Manage Wireless Numbers.
  4. Click the wireless number you want to change plans on. 
  5. Click the Plans tab.
  6. Click Manage Plans.

Depending on the type of plan you have, you could choose a new plan or add data to your existing plan. 

5. How do I change my plan in the My Verizon for Business app?

To change your plan on one line in the My Verizon for Business app:

  1. Sign in to the My Verizon for Business app.
  2. Tap Lines.
  3. Select a line.
  4. Tap the Actions tab.
  5. Tap Change Individual Plan.
  6. Select a new plan, then tap Continue.
    • Choose a data allowance if needed and tap Continue.
  7. Review your new plan and tap Continue.
  8. Choose an effective date and tap Submit.
