Raw Data Download How To Use Guide

Overview

Raw Data Download reports, or RDD reports, allow you to view and organize data for multiple accounts and mobile numbers.

This is an advanced report, best for large amounts of data. RDD reports are designed for account administrators who want to customize their analysis by inputting My Business statement information into their internal systems.

There are several My Business reports for general use, such as PurchasingMonthly usage, and Business account analysis.

Eligibility

RDD report benefits

  • Convenient and timely. RDD reports are available at the end of every month, 7 to 10 days after your last bill cycle date.
  • Flexible. Download monthly statements for all of your accounts and wireless numbers, and import them into your preferred analysis method, such as:
    • Microsoft Excel®
    • Google Sheets
    • PeopleSoft, and more
  • Comprehensive. Take your My Business data to the next level and create advanced reports to match your usage and needs.

R-D-D reports match 4 different parts of your monthly statements in My Business:

  • Account Summary is a comprehensive look at your account details
  • Account & Wireless Charges Detail Summary file shows the mobile number charges section of your bill
  • Account & Wireless Summary file shows your mobile number summary
  • Your monthly usage is displayed in the Wireless Usage Detail file

Create an RDD report

Sign in to My Business to access the RDD report link.

  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Manage Account.
  3. In the Billing column, click Reports.
  4. Click Show More.
  5. In the Other Reports column, click Raw Data Download.
  6. Start your RDD report by selecting a month and clicking Download.
    1. You’ll get a zip file with 4 text files, containing a variety of data depending on your accounts and usage.
    2. When you click on the text file, you get what can charitably be called a pile of gobbledygook. This is ok. (Fear not, it’s easy to create a useful spreadsheet out of this raw data.)
    3. For example, in Excel, go to the text file and highlight the whole page.
    4. Copy the page data.
    5. Open a spreadsheet, like Excel or Google Sheets, put your cursor in the top left cell, and paste.

Voila! From mess to usable spreadsheet.

You might have to expand the columns to see some of the data, but it’s all there, to edit, filter and sort as you please.
