General Information

1. What is Auto Pay for Verizon Business accounts?

Auto Pay is a feature in My Business and the My Verizon for Business app that allows you to set up a recurring monthly payment for your wireless bill. We'll automatically withdraw your payment every month, using your preferred payment method.

2. What are the benefits of using Auto Pay?
Because Auto Pay is set up to make a payment each month, you won't have to worry about making a late payment. It also saves time because you don't have to manually make a payment online or by mail each month.

3. I've just enrolled in Auto Pay. When will my first automatic payment take effect?

When you enroll in Auto Pay, you'll be told when the first automatic payment will post as part of the enrollment process. 

Typically, you'll need to manually pay your upcoming bill, and Auto Pay will start the following month.

4. How do I create an Auto Pay schedule?

You can set up Auto Pay online in My Business or in the My Verizon for Business app.

  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Billing, then click Manage bill, then click Manage auto pay.
    • You’ll go to the main Billing page.
  3. Find the account you would like to enable Auto Pay on, and click Create schedule.
  4. Click Add payment method (credit card or bank account/ACH), add your payment details, and click Submit.

You'll get a confirmation email, or you can print the details from the screen.

In the My Verizon for Business app:

  1. Open the My Verizon for Business app and tap the 3-line navigation menu in the top-left of your screen.
  2. Tap Bill.
  3. Enter your password, then follow the on-screen instructions for setting up Auto Pay.
  4. Once you click Save, you've successfully set up Auto Pay.

Note: If you've selected the 29th, 30th or 31st of the month, and the month doesn't include that date, the payment will be charged the following day.

Note: When you sign up for Auto Pay you’re automatically enrolled in paper-free billing. You can set up Auto Pay online in My Business or in the My Verizon for Business app.

Updating or deleting an Auto Pay method or date

5. How do I update my Auto Pay method?

You can add or update your Auto Pay payment method in My Business.

  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Billing, then click Manage bill, then click Manage auto pay.
    • You’ll go to the main Billing page.
  3. Find the account you would like to change your Auto Pay method on, and click the pencil icon.
  4. To update your current method, click Edit.
  5. Click Add payment method to add another payment method. 
6. How do I change my Auto Pay date?

You can change your auto payment date(s) in My Business and the My Verizon for Business app.

Changing your Auto Pay date online in My Business:

  1. Go to the Manage Auto Pay page.
  2. Click the Actions dropdown then click Edit auto pay schedule.
  3. In the "Set your monthly payment day" section, select the new date you want. The latest date you can select is 3 days before your bill is due
  4. Click Update Auto Pay.
  5. Review the details and click Confirm Auto Pay.

You've successfully updated your Auto Pay date. You'll be shown a confirmation page that displays your next Auto Pay date. If your next payment is due before your next Auto Pay date, you should make your next payment manually.

Changing your Auto Pay payment date in the My Verizon for Business app:

  1. Tap the 3-line navigation menu icon in the upper left corner of your device screen.
  2. Tap Bill.
  3. Tap Set up Auto Pay and sign in.
  4. Tap or slide "Turn on Auto Pay?" on.
  5. Select the day of the month for your payment.
    • Note: the latest day available will be 3 days before your bill is due.
  6. Select a payment method. If you already have a saved payment method, it will already be displayed.
  7. Read and Agree to the Terms and Conditions and tap Save.
  8. Tap Confirm on the pop-up notification.

You've successfully set up Auto Pay in the My Verizon for Business app.
